About Us: The Griffith University DNA Sequencing Facility provides independent, high quality and competitively priced Sanger sequencing, fragment analysis and next-generation sequencing services. The data produced is of the highest quality and our dedicated team provide personalised customer service and support. The facility services customers throughout Australia from research institutions to medical pathology laboratories.

The Griffith University DNA Sequencing Facility is NATA accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for the Sanger Sequencing Analysis and Fragment Analysis workflows. Please refer to the NATA website for the laboratory’s scope of accreditation.
Date of Accreditation: 15 July 2003. NATA Accreditation Number: 14814.

  • Sanger DNA Sequencing

  • Human Cell Line Authentication
  • NGS Services: Metagenomic Sequencing; Amplicon Sequencing; Whole Genome Sequencing
  • Sample QC using TapeStation (quality control of DNA and RNA) and QUBIT (DNA/RNA quantification).
 
Equipment: Applied Biosystems SeqStudio 8 Flex; Illumina MiSeq; Illumina NextSeq 2000; Agilent Tapestation; Thermo Fisher QUBIT.
