The School of Environment and Science (ESC) holds custodianship of several specialised research spaces that are accessible to Griffith University researchers based on their individual needs.
At Nathan (Brisbane South), facilities include ambient and temperature controlled glasshouses (2 of each), Soil and Plant processing facility (plant and soil grinding, jawcrusher, sieve shakers, ball mill; ovens and furnaces; High capacity balance and precision (6 decimal place) balance; Stereo microscope with hgh quality camera, Marine and freshwater research wet laboratories and aquarium rooms.
Constant temperature rooms (CT rooms) and walk-in freezer at Nathan in N81 can be accessed by contacting TCL through Ben Norton.
At Logan campus is the Logan Outdoor Research Facility (LORF). This houses several mesocosm structures and channels streams for flow experiments and 3 shadehouse for plant growth.
