Overview of the Griffith Health Imaging Core

This core is dedicated to managing high-value Imaging Instruments and associated equipment maintained by the Griffith University Health Group.  

Types of equipment you will find here include: 

  • Widefield Microscopes
  • Confocal Microscopes
  • Scanning Electron Microscope
  • In vivo Imagers
  • Histological Slide preparation equipment and slide scanners
  • Live Cell Imaging Instruments
  • Super resolution Microscopes
  • Imaging Analysis Workstations
  • Allied Health Imaging Instruments

Hours of Operation

Supported hours for instruments: 9.00 am until 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Consultations for experiment design, trouble shooting, or assistance is by appointment during supported hours.

 

Griffith University researchers who are appropriately trained and inducted into the research space can utilise instruments as their access to the space permits.

External researchers can access equipment during the Supported Hours shown on each piece of equipment.


Location

Health Group imaging instruments are spread across 5 buildings of the Health Group, Gold Coast Campus.
