The Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics brings together Griffith’s formidable strengths in biomedical research. By combining the outstanding discovery and translational research, infrastructure, and training expertise and we will deliver real and immediate impacts locally and globally, transforming the lives of people around the world, especially those in disadvantaged communities. 

Our state-of-the art infrastructure and equipment, coupled with our expert scientific and operational personnel, facilitates our world-class research. Our impressive facilities, purpose-built research spaces, unique resources and innovative services are also available to external research groups and industry

Our range of equipment and services includes: 

  • Flow Cytometry & Microscopy
  • Glycobioanalytical (SPR, ITC, Array)
  • NMR & Spectroscopy (NMR, FTIR)
  • Separation Sciences (HPLC, FPLC, LC-MS)
  • Liquid Handling (RockImager, NT8 dropsetter, Hamilton STARlet)
  • Other Lab Equipment (Ultracentrifuge, high-speed centrifuges, plate readers, cell disruptors, spot reader, CD spec, zetasizer)
