Overview of Services

Griffith Sciences is a powerhouse of research focused on creating practical solutions to the challenging problems of the 21st century. The Mechanical Workshops (MWS) is a core facility in providing engineering services to academic staff, general staff, and students located at all campuses.
These services underpin the excellent research and teaching activities of the University.

Services Offerd are:

  • CNC Machining
  • CAD/CAM
  • 3D Scanning
  • Laser Cutting & engraving
  • Turning & Milling
  • Welding & fabrication
  • Plastic fabrication & welding
  • Design & materials advice
  • Equipment and instrument repair
  • Sheet metal design and fabrication.

From 18 Dec 2020 Cabinetry, Woodworking and Vacuum Pump repairs will no longer be available.
